ELECTIONS MATTER
The election of 2008 proved to be a good one for candidates committed to reproductive health care and freedom. We were successful in 45 out of our total of 64 endorsed legislative candidates. This led to a 70 percent success rate.
Freedom Fund supporters and volunteers worked in-district to help elect candidates. Phone banks, door-to-door canvasses, and financial support led to this overwhelming success.
FREEDOM FUND IS GROWING
The 2008 General Election greatly expanded the reach of the Freedom Fund throughout Iowa. Our membership has grown substantially, and supporters mounted the most ambitious electoral program in the Freedom Fund’s history.
